Check-in and brief orientation: Introductions, General "Housekeeping" (Sign in sheet, location of classrooms, bathrooms, etc.) This will also be a time to visit and network while enjoying coffee and snacks provided by Follett and Perma-Bound.

Session Title: Book-talk for secondary librarians in the computer lab.
Presenter: Shelly Wilhelm from The Bookies

Synopsis: Shelly will be booktalking a number of titles that should appeal to kids grades 6-12.

Session Title: DCSD/DCL Update in the library
Presenter: Pete

Synopsis: Elementary librarians will be brought up to date on the current state of our collaboration with DCL. Time will be allowed at the end for elementary librarians to visit with the Follett and Perma-Bound reps.

Synopsis: Jeff will provide information aimed at helping elementary librarians have a better understanding of Sirs Discoverer. We will be looking at specialized content, educator and student resources, standards correlations, differentiation, and tools for improving research skills.

Audience members should bring: Laptop if possible.

Synopsis: Troy will provide information relevant to users of Global Issues in Context, Biography in Context, and other Cengage products.

We will have a working lunch in the library. You may bring your own sack lunch, or you can opt for pizza and a drink at the low price of $3.00. Contact Lillian if you want pizza. During lunch there will be a presentation by Jeff Cutler on Culture Grams.
